geez Tracy, I am trying to figure out which is worse,,,,the possibility of fire at an Archive, or the specter of water/foam at one
Fire, for sure. There are techniques for dealing with water-soaked materials, but it's really hard to bring back torched paper!
But either would be bad, so I'm pretty glad it was a false alarm.
